One thing about life is when it gets real people get scared,
They can’t handle a world where a real smile is hard to come by,
Where I can’t come home to my same old family,

I’ve lost all pity for those who live with no worries,
Still I wake up and pack all emotions away,
Walk through hallways and look the norm,
Few know, even less give a damn what I go through,
I don’t need the recognition, only the push to keep me moving forward,
I live for the day where I can make my family proud of what they created,
Where I can be proud of what I made out of nothing,
I don’t consider my life to be real hard, but shit gets tough,
